This building is a representative, city multifamily house in the villa suburb Wilhelmsruh in Berlin-Pankow.
The immediate neighborhood of the building is dominantly shaped by individual one family houses, tree-lined streets and spacious green areas. It is only 1 or 1.5 km distance to Wilhelmsruh’s lake, the train station S-Bahnhof Wilhelmsruh, the conservation area Zingerwiese and the Schönholzer Heide.

About the property
The object has been built as a three-level building between 1915 and 1920. Essential parts of the building were renovated in 1966. Modernisation of the building was made between 1996–2000.
A new roof covering with complete heat insulation was carried out, amongst others. Also, the windows have been replaced with high-quality and double-glazed wooden windows and all doors have been renewed or renovated. The house entrance doors have been completely replaced in the course of the staircase renovation. The bannisters and steps have been refurbished, and a decorative Sisal carpet was laid. New wooden battens separate the individual cellar compartments in the cellar area.
The cold and hot water strands have also been extensively renovated just as the strands of the heating. A new gas heating system, including new radiators in each apartment, has been installed. The stucco facade has been renovated with great care and attention to detail; it now highlights the grand character of the house.
The latest procedures and renewals have been implemented very carefully, not to compromise the aesthetic character of the building, but to increase sustainably the living quality. For example, at some apartments (apt. 7, 9, 10, 12, 13, 15, 16, 18) balconies towards the courtyard have been installed. These have been completed as spandrel-braced steel constructions and combine the rich character of the house with high-quality, modern components. For the seam, wood planking made from Siberian Larch has been used.
In the ground floor (apt. 1, 5) terraces will be arranged, also with wooden planking made from Siberian Larch. All apartments at the side of the street, in the first and second floor (apt. 7–18) have French balconies with a cantilever plate of concrete and an iron railing.
Furthermore, the green areas in front of the house and the inner courtyard have been newly planted and equipped with a children’s playground.
The entire property is in a beautiful and inviting condition. From the outside facilities, via the inner courtyard, the facade and through to the individual apartments, all redevelopment works have been completed.
All kitchens have been equipped with modern brand devices and furniture, together with modern floor tiles and a tiled backsplash in 1996.
All bathrooms of the property come with a high-quality sanitary ware of Villeroy & Boch and are tiled. In addition to the hand basin and WC, every apartment also has a bathtub.
Furthermore, some apartmens (apt. 9, 10, 15, 16, 19–22) have a separate shower.
To match the Altbau charme, the internal doors of the house have been refurbished as Berlin-cabinet doors. To highlight this special Altbau charme, great value and care were placed on the renewal of the stuccoed ceiling. The matching real wood parquet completes the feel-good atmosphere.
